Now seems like a good time for manga and anime adaptations. The latest title to get a live-action adaptation is Hitoshi Iwaaki’s Parasyte. The series, Parasyte: The Grey. Starring Koo Kyo-hwan, Jeon So-nee, Jung Hyun Lee and more, just dropped on OTT and it’s quite a horror-filled ride.
The plot revolves around parasites that live off humans and threaten to destroy civilisation as we know it. A group of humans resolve to go up against the growing evil. Helmed by Yeon Sang Ho, best known for his work on Train to Busan and Hellbound, the show has six terrifying episodes.
