The much-awaited and anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, is facing numerous delays due to various challenges.
The sci-fi drama was initially set to release in the first month of 2024 but missed the date and was rescheduled for a May release. However, due to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the makers will have to further postpone the release date as it is not considered profitable.
The movie is in its final stages; however, extensive VFX work has caused the film to remain in the post-production stage. There have been rumours suggesting a final release date of June 20, but due to the film’s heavy reliance on VFX, finishing the film has proven to be challenging.
Additionally, there is a significant lineup of South Indian films set to release this year, including Pushpa 2, Devara, G.O.A.T, and many others.
Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of the film’s release, but it looks like they will have to wait a little longer.
