Arun Govil and Lara Dutta have reportedly begun shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Recently, Zoom has obtained some unofficial pictures from the set that reveal some behind-the-scenes work for the movie. In the pictures, Arun Govil can be seen in full costume as Raja Dashrath. He is sporting a long beard and wearing a crown. Govil can also be seen interacting with a few child actors in the pictures, who are possibly playing the roles of young Ram and Lakshman.

Some pictures also reveal Lara Dutta’s look, who has been said to play the role of Dashrath’s third wife, Kaikeyi. She can be seen wearing a saree with heavy gold jewellery. Actress Sheeba Chaddha, who is said to be playing Manthra, can also be seen in the still in full costume.
A photo of Nitesh Tiwari is also doing rounds on social media where he is overseeing the production from his chair.
As these unofficial set pictures have made their way to the team, fans are demanding official first look posters of the cast. While no official announcement has been made, reports state that Ranbir Kapoor will play Ram and Sai Pallavi will take up the role of Sita.
Other reports state that Sunny Deol could be seen playing the role of Lord Hanuman while KGF star Yash takes up the role of Ravana.
